Lili holds onto her childhood. She sits on the roof of her abandoned house and guards her childhood belongings. Occasional sandstorms visit there, and Lili hides from them.
An unusually strong storm is coming and threatening to take her belongings. Lili decides not to hide this time and fights it with determination. But despite her efforts, the wind wins, and Lili goes out to chase after her childhood memories.
In the heart of the storm she discovers her toys, brought to life on a giant carousel. Lili forgets about the wind and drifts to play. Round and round on the carousel, and for the first time she manages to enjoy childhood. The storm increases, and she is forced to choose between reality and illusion.
