Hourglass depicts the rise and fall of Dezahav, a settlement in the Sinai Peninsula. The story is told by one of its founders, Yudith Almagor, describing how a land of dunes, mountains, blue sea, and Bedouins changed when a group from Kriyat Malachi decided to fulfill their dream.
